Introduction

Welcome, survivor. This page collects what you need before and during the event. Use any tools you like, and ask the organizers if you get stuck.

Tools and Technologies

Any programming language, framework, or platform is welcome. Good starting points are GitHub for your code (students can get free tools through the GitHub Student Developer Pack), VS Code or any editor you like, and hosting services such as Vercel, Netlify, or Render, which offer free tiers. AI coding assistants are allowed if you credit them in your submission. Bring your laptop, your charger, and anything extra a hardware project needs.

Inspiration

A survivor map that tracks safe zones, supplies, and routes
A messaging app that still works with no internet
An AI assistant that triages emergencies or answers survival questions
A resource allocator that decides who gets the limited food, water, and seats on the last transports
A game where your crew races the clock to launch the final ship
A hardware alarm or sensor system that detects danger and alerts your crew
